OUR FOUNDERS
Pamelya Herndon
Pamelya Herndon is a practicing attorney with an exciting background in both the private and public sector. She currently serves as the CEO of the KWH Law Center for Social Justice and Change. She has previously served in executive level positions in state government ranging from general counsel to deputy cabinet secretary. Pamelya is licensed as an attorney and as a certified public account.
Pamelya has held an array of leadership positions on Boards. She has previously served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Con Alma Health Foundation, the largest health foundation in New Mexico and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union, a billion dollar financial institution. Pamelya currently sits as an elected member of the Council of the Civil Rights and Social Justice Section of the American Bar Association.

Jill P van Nortwick
Jill P. van Nortwick has a background of working overseas for many years as a senior-level corporate manager for a multinational firm, as a principal advisor for the Minister of Science and Technology in the New Zealand national government, and as an Executive Director for a multi-million dollar non-profit organization in New Mexico.
She has many years of experience working in leadership positions on a variety of boards including non-profit and government-funded. After completing her Masters in International Business at the University of London, she has dedicated herself to helping boards and management teams implement key cultural and structural levers for ethical decision making, identify their values, and discover and advance their vision. She is active on several boards in Albuquerque and most recently received the Public Charter Schools of New Mexico Governance Award.
